Starting over.

I think I am going to start using this blog so everyone can stay updated on katelyn. She was born 7 weeks early. We were in Fort Wayne for like 3 hours when I started to feel pain but I thought she was laying funny. It got a little bit better for a few a minutes. We went upstairs to get Madelyn and Caleb asleep and for like 10 minutes i felt pain again then started the gush of blood. I got up and went to the bathroom and it kept coming. Rob's parents were at Easter vigil so he ran and got the neighbor to watch the kids. Poor Madelyn was crying but she was brave. Rob finally got a hold of his dad. We got to the hospital and the ER person did not seem in a hurry even though I still had blood going down my legs. They got me upstairs and put me on the monitors and baby was doing great. Rob called my doctor and got my records faxed to the new place. We got to the hospital about 7:15. By 8:15, i had an ultrasound which lasted an hour. The time between the ultrasound and them telling us what was wrong was horrible. By 9:45 they finally told us that we had to do a c-section now. The plentca had detach. They moved very quickly. They got my spinal in and the doctor started. They went so fast that rob was walking in as she was being born. She came out screaming which was as great sound. Rob and I got to see her for a second. She was born at 10:32 on April 7th (holy Saturday) and Madelyn was born on good Friday. We got to see katelyn that night around 2. She was 4lbs 15 ozs and 18 inches. She has really long fingers and toes just like mom and sister. We got to hold her for the first time when she 18 hours old. She was on a c-pack for about 12 hours. All the nurse think she is the cute little girl, which I agree. I will try to keep this updated

You've weather the storm now for sunshine as Katelyn gets stonger each day. I went through the same thing with Kristy being early and having to leave her at the hospital for a period of time. Can't wait to see everyone in May. Hugs to all.
