Its hard to believe that she is a week old. It gets harder each day to leave her. We get to do alot of the things on our own now. We change her diaper and take her temperature. Also, we can get her in and out of her crib thing when we need to feed her. Today was a rough start to the day. They moved her feeding up to 40 ml, which she has to take or they will put a feeding tube back in. The first one she nursed which she did great but then would not take much of the bottle (which stressed me out). For the rest of her feedings, I decided not to nurse her because she seemed really tired. She just got the bottle. It took a while at the noon feeding, but she did great at 3, 6, and 9. They stoped her IV and the feeding tube that was in her nose was out (she pulled it out). She smiled a couple of times today. The nurse said her color looked really good and Katelyn smiled. It was really cute.
Caleb is having a hard time. He wants to be held all of the time but only standing up (which I can not do right now). He is a busy little guy. Always on the go and never stops. He use to hate pizza but has started to eating it since being in Fort Wayne. He looks to big now compared to his sister. He is such a cute little guy.
Madelyn is having a hard time also. She really wants to see her sister but no one understhe age of 18 can go into the NICU. Also, it is hard because mommy and dadddy keep leaving to go to the hospital. She has a cold right now and Rob was going to find her a doctor her in Fort Wayne to take her too. She got really scared because she didn't want the doctor to ripe open her stomach (poor girl). She is going to enjoy being a big sister to Katelyn.
Rob is taking the kids home tomorrow night, so he can work for a couple of days and they can go to daycare and preschool. It will be good for them to be around their friends. I am going to miss them and Rob. Hopefully, we won't have to do this for to long.
