Swim Lessons

Madelyn getting ready for swim lessons. Rob took a few pictures while we were swimming,but he took it with his phone. Hopefully, we can figure out how to get them to the blog. She really enjoys the water.

We finally have updated the blog

I have updated the blog. I put a lot of updates on here, so make sure you look at all of them. I have gone back to were I left off which was the end of November. I hope to keep everyone updated a little better this year.

Madelyn did not have a great week this week. She had a fever on Tuesday and was not her normal self. Rob took her to the doctor and found out she had strep throat, so the poor thing has not felt well all week. I think she is starting to get back to her normal self.

It has been very cold here in Indy for the past couple of days. It was so cold that I had 2 hour delays that past two days and Rob had the day off today.

Rob has started his night classes again this week. However, he only has one night a week, which is nice.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Howard!!

For my dad's birthday, we spent the day with him. We went to the Children's museum, which was a good time.

2008 Recap

Jan: I don't remember being this pregnant. I had about two more month until Madelyn was born.

Feb: This was the month for baby showers. This a picture at one of my baby showers. Jess and her mom threw me a baby shower in Dayton. My aunt and mom hosted my other baby shower. They both were great a time. We spent most of Feb. getting Madelyn's room ready. It turned out great.

Welcome to the world Madelyn. I can't believe that she is already 9 months old. She was born on March 21st. She is a such a great baby. This is one of our favorites. She was a day old in this picture.

Apr. - This is the first time that we gave Madelyn a bottle. She was about 6 weeks old. Rob got to feed her for the first time. She did not have a problem taking the bottle.

May: This is a picture from Madelyn's Baptism. She had the best lungs out all of the babies being baptized. It was great to have everyone in town for her baptism. She is a very loved little girl. This month was very hard for me. I had to go back to work for three weeks. I had to go back to work on my birthday and the day after Mothers day. It was hard to leave Madelyn, but I knew that I would have the summer off. However, my birthday was special. Rob sent me flowers to school and my mom brough Madelyn into school during lunch time so I could see her and she got me an ice cream cake (my favorite).

June: This was Katie Bopp's wedding. This was Madelyn's second wedding. She slept during both Wedding, which was great. This was the day before Father's Day. The shirt says I love Daddy. Rob's father's day gift was a concert. We spent the day with my Dad and Grandpa. A big thing that happened this month was that she rolled over for the first time.

July: Spending the day out in the back yard. At the end of the month, she started to get on all fours like she wanted to crawl.

Another July - This is the first time she went swimming. She loves the water. We started her in swim lesson that started right after the New Year.

Aug - Madelyn started to eat baby food. She was not to sure of the food at first, but will eat about anything now. She started Daycare during Aug. She has really enjoy her time with Elizabeth and Isabella. It is nice to have her someplace that does not have many kids. She really enjoys playing with Isabella (she is a year older than Madelyn).

Sept - We started taking Madelyn to the park. She really enjoyed the swings and the slides. She started to do the army crawl this month.

Oct - She started to walk in Oct. and started to pull up on things. She was all over the place. She also learned how to go up stairs. I am glad that we do not have stairs at home.

Nov - She said her first word this month. She started to walk around while holding onto things.

Dec - Madelyn took her first step without holding onto anything on Christmas Day. She had a great Chrismas. We had a great year with her and enjoy watching her grow and learn new things everyday.

This is Madelyn's favorite stuff animal. She loves Fluffy and will carry him around by his ear.
