Happy Easter

Madelyn has not had a great Easter. She has been sick for the past two days. Here is a couple of pictures of her finding Easter eggs. She started to feel a little better for an hour or so, so we took advantage of the time to take some pictures. She enjoyed playing with the eggs.

Madelyn got this for her birthday from Jessica. At first she was not to sure about wearing it, but then she started to walk around the house trying to put it on. It goes with her Easter dress.
This was a picture after Madelyn found her first egg. She put it right into her basket. She got this basket from my mom and dad last Easter. She was only two days old last Easter.
Here is an action shot of Madelyn trying to get one of the eggs.
After she found all of the eggs!!
I put some cheerios in some of the eggs.

I hope everyone has a great Easter.

After her party

I have made many new updates in the past two days, so make sure you check them all out. I think there are 14 new post. This will be the last one and I will have everything updated. Here are a few pictures of Madelyn after her party. She was still going even though it was an hour and half past her bedtime.

Madelyn opening presents

Madelyn was not interested in opening presents. She wanted to play with Isabella and with her new toys. She had a great time at her party. Here are a few pictures of Madelyn with her presents.

Pictures from Rob's mom camera

At the end of Jan, Rob's parents came down for two days during the week to watch Madelyn while our babysitter took a couple of weeks off because she had a baby. One of the days end up being a snow day, so we all spent the day together.

Last update!!

This one will have no pictures. I wanted to update everyone on what is going on with us. Madelyn has had a rough week. Madelyn had her year appointment this week and she got four shots ,which is no fun. Also, her two front (top) teeth are coming in, so I think that is hurting her plus she has a bad reaction to the whole milk to we put her on this week. We switched to soy, which was the type of formula she was on anyway. It was horrible to watch the poor thing in so much pain, so our baby girl has not been the happiest baby this week. Beside everything that has been going on this week, she is still all over the place. She loves to walk everywhere and she wants to do everything by herself. She is an independent little girl. We started her on the same food as us about a month ago. She would eat anything that you would give to her, but in the past two weeks she has become a picky eater. I hope this is a just a phase and she will go back to eat anything. She is a wonderful little girl and we love watching her learn new things everyday. She is a very social little girl. She likes to say hi to everyone and get annoyed when the person does not say hi back.

Robert and I are enjoying our new schools. Robert only has to take one night class this semester which is nice. He is working on getting Madelyn a play area for the outside which will include the slide she got from her birthday, a swing, and a sand box. She will have fun playing outside this summer, which we are looking forward to having the summer off. I am happy that it is getting warm out now. I love spending time outside with Madelyn and Robert.

One plan for the summer is a trip to Canada for a week to visit Ivey and Daniel, which should be fun, We just ordered Madelyn's passport this past week, so hopefully it will be here on time. We don't want the same stress that happen before our trip to Sweden (we got my passport about 4 hours before be left).

Babies are everywhere right now and we are excited for everyone. My brother and Kristi are expecting a little girl this August. We can't wait to meet her and are excited that Madelyn will have a cousin close to her age.

Two of my friends are having babies very soon. Kim is due early May and Ammie is due end of June. Also, Rob's cousin is having a baby in the fall. Madelyn will have many new playmates that are close in age.

I know I have said this before, but I will try to keep this blog updated.

Trip to Wisconsin

For the first few days of our spring break, we went to visit my Aunt and her family in Wisconsin. My Uncle Steve is a dairy farmer, so we got to see the cows. We had a great time and Madelyn seemed to enjoy the animals. We were going to go visit Ammie and her family in Wisconsin on our way home but Madelyn and I got sick on Sunday night, so we went home. The good news is they are moving back in May, so we are excited to have them back in Indiana. Isaak is 2, so Madelyn will have a great time with him his summer. Here are a few picture from the farm.

Happy Birthday Madelyn!!!

Here are only a couple of pictures from Madelyn's birthday. Hopefully, I will post some more sometime this week.

Coloring!!

We having been coloring with Madelyn for the past month. However, she loves to eat the crayons, so we have to take them away. Here is picture of Madelyn coloring on Mommy's Trig worksheet.

Madelyn being cute!!!

Madelyn and Daddy!!!

Maggie and Max

Maggie has done really well with Madelyn. We were a little worried about her but Madelyn will fall on her face and she won't do anything. Maggie loves the fact that she get food from Madelyn because when Madelyn is done she will drop some food on the floor for her. Here is a picture of Maggie and Madelyn together.

Max is a very special dog. He does well around Madelyn but could care less about her. If she walks over to him, he will get up and leave. Here is a picture of Max in Madelyn's cap.

Snow in Jan!!

We had the day off because of the snow back in Jan. We did not take Madelyn out in the snow because she had an ear infection, but here is a picture of her playing inside.

Jan update.

Rob has been sending pictures using his phone, but I wanted to update pictures from my camera. I am about two months behind. The start of 2009 has not been the best start for us be healthy. We had a span of three weeks that one of us was sick at some point. Here is a picture of Madelyn on Inauguration Day listening to Barack Obama's speech. This was the day that I was sick and our babysitter just had her baby, so Rob stayed home to watch Madelyn. We got to watch the whole thing.

Here is a picture of Madelyn crawling down the hallway. She started to walk a few days later and does not really like to crawl anymore.

Madelyn and her Colt's outfit. It isn't football season but being a cute Colt's fan is a year-round commitment!
