Is that the Busy Ball Popper? We got that for Isaak for his first christmas, and he was terrified of it. He just started playing with it about 6 months ago. I know it sounds horrible, but it was so funny to watch him. It was like he was weightless, as he would try and climb up our legs to get away from it.
